Welcome to The Roatan Bilingual School, where we make a difference for hundreds of children on the island of Roatan.

Roatan
Off the coast of Honduras, a third world country in Central America, is Roatan, a Western Caribbean Island. In Honduras almost one third of the children’s nutritional needs are not being met, the same holds true for Roatan. The locals of Roatan have organized themselves to do something about this, and to create hope for the future by educating the children.

Mission
The Roatan Bilingual Schools’ mission is to provide a superior education to island children in both Spanish and English while preserving and strengthening their cultural pride and awareness. The schools’ successful, steady growth in the past 20 years is owed in a large part to both our valued sponsors and our dedicated teachers who have enabled us to create and sustain a school that secures a solid future for Roatan.
